We have two apps to help you manage your transport system, each aimed at different audiences.
For initial set-up and organisation-level management, use the Simply Connect Management Console. The Management Console allows you set up a Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) service in a new area. Our wizard will help you set up and configure your new DRT service. Once set up, use the management console to control your service's high-level parameters.
The Management Console also includes the Simulator. The Simulator is a versatile tool that helps you evaluate new and existing DRT setups, by simulating multiple moving vehicles and passengers.
For day-to-day management, use the Simply Connect Admin App. The Admin App is a Windows application that helps your service administrators book journeys for your passengers, manage existing bookings, and view and manage your drivers' schedules, as well as a range of other useful features for your transport operation's back-office.
To get started setting up a DRT service, you first need to create an account on the passenger app. Use the button below to access the passenger app, or visit simplyconnect.app from any device.
We have a passenger app - a Progressive Web App - that can be used from any device: mobile or desktop. The passenger app allows your passengers to book and manage their own journeys with your transport service. Your passengers specify where they are going from, to, and their time constraints, and our system will figure out the best option for their journey.
When passengers (or your back-office staff) book journeys, the process of assigning shared vehicles and times can be fully automated. Or, if you prefer to maintain greater control, your back-office staff can view journeys booked in the passenger app for all passengers and assign vehicles and times manually.
There is also a driver app. The driver app runs on Android devices and directs drivers to each passenger's pick-up or drop-off point, as well as giving your drivers important information about upcoming passengers and allowing them to let the system know once passengers have got in, got out, or missed their journey.
The driver app also helps you stay in touch easily with drivers. Your office administrators can easily send messages to drivers at the click of a mouse, straight from the admin app to the driver app.
